Finding and reading a document
Every document belongs to the orchestrator it was sent to, so that orchestrator's list is where you find it. This page covers narrowing the list down, and what you are looking at once a document opens.
- The IntelieDocs module visible in your left-hand navigation.
- An orchestrator that already has documents in it.
If IntelieDocs isn't in your navigation, your role doesn't have visibility for it — ask a workspace administrator, or see Permissions and module visibility.
Steps
On the IntelieDocs home page, select the orchestrator that received the document. Its documents open as a list — swap to Grid view and back with List view.
Type into Search by name. Up to ten suggestions appear as you type, and selecting one opens that document directly.
Narrow the list with View Status (All) and View Groups (All). Both are multi-select and both add up; the groups filter shows how many documents each group holds.
Use Sort By to order by Name, Last Modified or Uploaded On, Ascending or Descending. Rows per page offers 10, 20, 50 or 100, and the footer counts what you are seeing out of the total.
The Status badge on each row says where the document has got to. On Exception, Export Failed and Partially Exported it carries a hover tooltip with the reason, or the outcome per export connector.
Select the name under Document Name. The other columns — Group, Uploaded On, Uploaded By, Last Modified and Actions — stay for orientation.
What success looks like
- The list shows only what you filtered to, and the footer count agrees.
- Your search, filters, sort and page survive a refresh: they live in the page address, so the view is also shareable.
- The document opens with the same status beside Document Status:.
Reading the detail page
Working down and across: a breadcrumb bar carrying Document Status:, Group: and Last Modified:; an action bar with Previous / Next, who or what uploaded it, and Save, Download, Delete and Close; a toolbar with the page stepper, zoom, the Doc View / Text View toggle (Original / Redacted on a Smart Redact document) and the Result / Groups tabs; then the page thumbnails, the viewer, and the results panel on the right. On a Smart Redact document whose redacted copy is ready, the toolbar also carries Add redaction box, Undo, Redo, Save regions and Apply redactions — see Manual redaction.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A status looks out of date. | The list never refreshes itself — only an open document does. | Select Refresh. |
| Ticking Password Required in the status filter changes nothing. | That status cannot be filtered on. | Clear it and use Search by name instead. |
| Filtering on Uploaded returns No documents found. | No document rests in that status. | Filter on Processing or Waiting for Review instead. |
| The delete action under Actions is greyed out, titled Document is still processing. | The document is mid-pipeline or mid-export. | Wait for it to settle, then delete it. |
| A bulk delete reports fewer deletions than you selected. | Deleting is best-effort: a document that has moved on is skipped. | Re-check the Status of the ones still listed. The exact wording of these messages is not yet final. |
