Orchestrator basics
All four kinds are found, created and read the same way. This page covers that shared ground; the pages at the end cover what differs.
- The IntelieDocs module visible in your left-hand navigation.
- Nothing — an orchestrator is the first thing you build, because a document can only be uploaded or imported into one that already exists.
If IntelieDocs isn't in your navigation, your role doesn't have visibility for it — ask a workspace administrator, or see Permissions and module visibility.
Finding one
Select IntelieDocs in the left navigation. The module sidebar lists Home, then the four kinds under All Orchestrators; select one to open its list.
Every list shows NAME, DATE, DESCRIPTION and ACTIONS, plus one column of its own — and STATUS (Active or Passive) on Smart Queue and Smart Redact only. A Draft chip means the record was never published. Narrow with Search by name and sort by Name or Date; the direction is fixed and there is no filter. Ten rows show at a time — change Rows per page.
Home lists every kind together, with its own search and sort. Its View Orchestrator (All) filter only narrows the list when exactly one kind is ticked.
Creating one
Choose the kind you need from All Orchestrators, then select Add New.
Fill in Name and Description — both required. Only Description stays editable after publishing.
Complete the section beneath — the fields, classes, classifier or redaction configuration this kind needs. Its own page explains what to enter.
Select Save as Draft to finish later, or Submit to publish. Leaving part-finished raises Unsaved Changes — answer Yes, Leave or No, Stay.
Only a Smart Redact asks about review while you create it, under Redaction Behavior. On Smart Extract and Smart Classes, set Review Required afterwards from Edit Settings on Overview.
Reading the Overview tab
Selecting a name opens Overview. Its Details card repeats the name and description — plus Type on Smart Extract, and Review Required on Smart Extract, Smart Classes and Smart Redact — and Edit Settings opens a side panel to change them. Below sits the card for this kind.
While it is a draft, a Draft chip sits beside the heading and Save Changes publishes it, after a confirmation. Publishing cannot be undone, and a published orchestrator has no header action.
The header also carries Manage Documents and Manage Groups; the tab rail carries Visibility Scope plus Import Channels and Export Channels on all four kinds.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No items found. when you know some exist. | The list has no error state, so a failed load looks like an empty list. | Reload the page. |
| Name is greyed out in Edit Settings. | The orchestrator is published. | Only a draft can be renamed; Description stays editable either way. |
| Submit stays disabled. | This kind's own requirements are not met yet. | Check its page below. Smart Extract explains why on hover; the other three do not. |
| Deleting reports that documents are still linked. | Documents remain attached. | Remove them from Manage Documents, then delete. |
The four kinds
| Kind | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Smart Extract | Pull named fields out of a document. |
| Smart Classes | Sort documents into classes you define. |
| Smart Queue | Queue documents for a person to work through. |
| Smart Redact | Hide sensitive content before a document goes on. |
