Signing off and re-running a document
Mark as Reviewed is the sign-off: it records that a person has checked the document. If the result is wrong instead, the same header offers a re-run — which one you get depends on the document status.
- The IntelieDocs module visible in your left-hand navigation.
- A document open in the workbench, with every required field filled in. Actions here are checked by the server as you use them, so a button you are not entitled to use fails rather than hides.
If IntelieDocs isn't in your navigation, your role doesn't have visibility for it — ask a workspace administrator, or see Permissions and module visibility.
Steps
Open the orchestrator’s documents list and select the document. One that is waiting for you reads Waiting for Review.
Correct anything wrong, then select Save. Save only stores values — it never signs the document off, and Mark as Reviewed stays disabled while a required field is empty. Redaction boxes are stored separately, by Save regions on the toolbar.
There is no confirmation step. Document marked as reviewed confirms it, you stay on the document, and its row in the list refreshes.
On an Exception document, Retry Submit runs the whole pipeline again and the status returns to Processing. On a finished document whose orchestrator has moved on, Update Available reprocesses it on the newer configuration. On Export Failed or Partially Exported, Retry export re-sends only the deliveries that failed.
If a newer configuration exists, the re-run asks first. From Retry Submit, Retry with old version keeps the version the document was processed with and Use new version switches to the current one. From Update Available, Use new version updates it and Keep old version simply closes the dialog.
What success looks like
- Document marked as reviewed appears, and the document row in the list refreshes without you selecting Refresh.
- A re-run confirms with Reprocessing started, Update started or Re-exporting…, and the status badge leaves the value it was stuck on.
There is nothing to reject
The workbench has one review decision, and it is Mark as Reviewed. There is no reject, decline or send-back action. If a document is unusable, your options are to correct the fields and Save, re-run it, or delete it. Nothing moves you on automatically — go back to the documents list, or use Previous and Next if you arrived from there.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Mark as Reviewed is disabled, tooltip Fill in every required field before marking as reviewed. | A field marked with a red asterisk is empty. | Fill it in and select Save — see Reviewing extracted fields. |
| Mark as Reviewed is disabled with no tooltip. | The status is Exception or Export Failed, or the document is already reviewed. | Re-run it instead: Retry Submit, or Retry export. See Exceptions. |
| There is no Mark as Reviewed button at all. | The document is Exported or Archived. | Nothing is needed — it is past review. |
| Corrections vanished before you signed off. | Switching the right panel to Groups discards unsaved edits silently. | Select Save while still on Result, then switch tabs. |
| Failed to retry the document or Failed to start the export. | The request was refused. | Reload the document and try once more; if it persists, check the failure detail on the banner. |
