Reviewing and correcting extracted fields

Open a document, compare what was read against the page, and correct anything wrong. Every edit is yours until you select Save — there is no autosave and no per-field save.

What you'll need

• The IntelieDocs module visible in your left-hand navigation.
• A processed document on an orchestrator’s Documents tab. Editable fields exist for Smart Extract and Smart Queue documents.

If IntelieDocs isn't in your navigation, your role doesn't have visibility for it — ask a workspace administrator, or see Permissions and module visibility.

Steps

1. Select the document in the orchestrator’s list. The right panel opens on Result, with every value under Basic Information.

2. Select a field row (tooltip Go to page). The viewer jumps to that page and pulses the box it was read from, in the same colour as the swatch beside the label.

3. Type into the value control. Enter commits your edit, Shift+Enter adds a line. Yes/no fields are a toggle and numbers a number box. A red * marks a field that cannot be left empty.

4. A table field has its own section headed with its item and column counts, plus Highlight table on document and Expand table. Edit cells in place, Add Row to append one, Delete row to remove one — deletion is immediate, with no confirmation. For wide tables use Expand table, which adds Columns and Search line items….

5. Select Save in the header — it stays greyed out until something differs from the stored value, and reads Saving… while it works. Only the fields you changed are sent. Leaving with unsaved edits raises Unsaved Changes; choose No, Stay to go back and save.

6. When the values are right, select Mark as Reviewed.

What success looks like

• Your corrected values are still there after the save, and Last Modified updates. A successful save shows no message — the panel simply re-reads the document.
• Document marked as reviewed confirms the review, and Mark as Reviewed is greyed out afterwards.

How confidence is shown

There is no per-field confidence score and nothing flags a field as doubtful or already-corrected, so check every value yourself. The only confidence signal is Classification Level: — High, Medium or Low — on the Classification card of a classified document. Low is your cue to read the whole result carefully.

If something goes wrong

Symptom	Likely cause	What to do
Save is greyed out.	Nothing differs from the stored values — changing a value back also re-greys it.	Edit a value; Save enables itself.
Please fill in all required fields before saving.	A field marked * is empty.	Fill in each field showing This field is required, please add the value, then save again.
Your edits disappeared.	Switching the panel to Groups discards unsaved edits silently — no prompt.	Always save before leaving Result.
Mark as Reviewed does nothing.	A required field is empty (tooltip Fill in every required field before marking as reviewed), or the document is Exception or Export Failed.	Fill and save the field. See Exceptions for a failed document.
Results will appear here once processing completes.	Nothing was extracted — the document is still processing, failed, or its orchestrator extracts nothing.	Check Document Status: in the breadcrumb bar.
