Enabling, disabling and deleting an export connector
Only an Active export connector delivers anything, and only an Active one can be picked as a channel on an orchestrator. Disabling is also how you unlock its settings.
- The IntelieKonnect module visible in your left-hand navigation.
- These permissions: IntelieKonnect — Update, IntelieKonnect — Delete.
- An export connector whose Engagement Status is Connected. Enable is not shown until it is.
If IntelieKonnect isn't in your navigation, your role doesn't have visibility for it — ask a workspace administrator, or see Permissions and module visibility.
Steps
Open the connector from the Export Connectors list. With Engagement Status reading Connected, select Enable — it reads Enabling…, then Connector enabled confirms and Status becomes Active.
Select Disable. Connector disabled confirms and Status becomes Disabled. Credentials, Configuration, Export Settings and the schedule are all kept.
Settings only change while a connector is disabled: an Active one shows the banner To edit settings you must first disable the connector, update the settings, then enable the connector.
Delete appears only once the connector is not Active — it is hidden, not greyed out. Select Delete, then Yes, Delete in the Delete Connector dialog.
What success looks like
- Connector enabled, Status reads Active, and the connector is selectable on an orchestrator’s Export Channels tab.
- Connector disabled, Status reads Disabled, and the tabs are editable again.
- The deleted connector is gone from the Export Connectors list.
Before you delete
The connector, its credentials and its bindings go together, so every orchestrator loses that export channel. A document that finishes with no enabled export channel still completes successfully — nothing is delivered and nothing reports an error. Add the replacement to Export Channels first.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Neither Enable nor Disable is in the header. | Engagement Status is not Connected. | Verify it — see Verifying a connector. |
| Enable is greyed out, with a tooltip naming missing fields. | An accounting export needs its Organization, Default GL Account or Default Item. | Select Authenticate on Configuration, fill them in, then enable. |
| No Delete anywhere. | The connector is Active. | Select Disable first. |
| Documents complete but nothing is delivered. | The connector is Disabled, or its channel was removed. | Check Status, then its export channels. |
