Fetching documents now
Fetch now runs an import connector on the spot. Use it to prove a new connector works without waiting for the schedule, or to pull something urgent.
- The IntelieKonnect module visible in your left-hand navigation.
- This permission: IntelieKonnect — Execute.
- An import connector that is Active and Connected. Fetch now is hidden otherwise.
If IntelieKonnect isn't in your navigation, your role doesn't have visibility for it — ask a workspace administrator, or see Permissions and module visibility.
Steps
Open the Import Connectors list, or open the connector itself.
Select Fetch now — in the connector header, or the download icon in the row’s Actions. It reads Starting… briefly, then a Fetch started message confirms it.
The fetch runs in the background. Documents appear on the bound orchestrator’s Documents tab as they arrive — this can take a minute or two.
What success looks like
- A Fetch started message appears.
- New documents show up on the orchestrator the connector is bound to.
Why Fetch now might not be there
Fetch now is hidden — not greyed out — unless the connector is both Active and Connected. That is the same state the scheduler requires, so if you cannot fetch by hand, the schedule would not have run either. Check both badges on Overview.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |

| No Fetch now anywhere. | The connector is not Active, or not Connected. | Verify it, then enable it — see Verifying and Enable, disable, delete. |
| A fetch is already in progress. | A scheduled or manual run is still going. | Wait for it to finish, then try again. |
| It says Fetch started but nothing arrives. | Nothing new at the source, filters exclude it, or the connector is not bound. | Check your filters on Configuration, then the binding. |
| Couldn't start the fetch. | The request was refused. | Re-check Engagement Status — credentials may have lapsed since it was enabled. |
